Virtual Training Solution

Meetings have enhanced via the Video Conferencing medium where two or more parties can communicate as if they are in the same room.
Training and collaborative conferences have also used the Video Conferencing (VTC) solution to conduct sessions and lectures from remote regions to classrooms and similar audiences.
TigrisNet has enhanced this medium by the introduction of a Digital Whiteboard and an Interactive whiteboard, which will facilitate a comprehensive virtual classroom via the VTC.
‘Training from Different Regions in the World in Real-Time!’
Objective
Our objective is to provide a complete classroom environment for distant parties. To achieve this we have combined the Video conferencing hardware with the Digital Capturing device. Hence not only can both parties see each other but also, they are able to view interactive and real time hand-written notes and applications such as power point and websites.
Scenarios
We will assume a Training program that needs to be conducted between a Trainer in London-England and Student in Baghdad-Iraq. In this scenario, both parties will be able to view and hear each-other via a Video conferencing (VTC) medium as well as contents of a connected PC. Therefore the trainer will conduct the class using whatever his camera and microphone captures in one screen and have his PC appear on another screen. This way he can control the PC locally and have it appear on the students’ screen.
1- Face-to-Face & Computer
2- VTC & Whiteboard
Here the Trainer can call the classroom in Baghdad and establish the primary connection where both parties can view and hear each-other. The trainer will then initiate a Whiteboard session using the Digital Capturing unit that is fixed to an ordinary whiteboard. To achieve this, both parties will require dual video displays which will present the whiteboard on one side and the image of the trainer/students on the other.
The result will be an all comprehensive Virtual classroom where both students and the trainer can see each-other and the notes that the trainer writes in real-time on the whiteboard, as illustrated in these pictures. Here, the Trainer can present live data images from their Computer while controlling the PC from the whiteboard.
3- VTC & Interactive Board
The Digital Capturing unit not only can act as a pure capturing devise for the ordinary whiteboard but also used with a Computer it can deliver greater application usage. With a projector, you can project the computer’s image on the whiteboard, and by connecting the capturing device to the board you can completely control the computer from the whiteboard.

“Turn any whiteboard into an interactive whiteboard!”
The ‘multi-function’ digital pen (same length as an ordinary pen) will essentially work as remote mouse that can control the computer from the projected image on the whiteboard.
4- Multi-site VTC & Digital Whiteboard
An additional feature on the VTC enables connection of multiple sites is facilitating and conducting two or more training sessions at the same time. For example, the same trainer in London, after establishing a call with the students in Baghdad, can call another classroom in Kabul-Afghanistan and have the training done simultaneously. This feature not only saves time but it can also bring collaboration between the two classrooms.

During the session the primary display (Screen 2) will be split in two, thus the trainer will have students from both regions displayed on one screen and the digital whiteboard or the interactive whiteboard (as illustrated below) on the other.
